We are a team of nonprofit leaders, technologists, and researchers committed to safe, equitable Agentic AI.

Impact Mission for AI Foundation was created by people who have worked inside nonprofits, philanthropic organisations, and technology teams, and who saw both the potential and the risks of AI for social impact. We chose to become a native Agentic AI nonprofit so that we could learn by doing, not just by observing, and then share those lessons widely.

By running our own operations on an agentic AI enterprise platform, we experience the opportunities, tensions, and design choices that our partners face. This experience enables us to speak honestly about what works, what fails, and what needs more experimentation, and to serve as a bridge between frontline practitioners, technologists, and decision‑makers.

Impact Mission for AI Foundation is governed by an independent board that oversees strategy, risk, and alignment with our charitable purpose. We maintain dedicated structures for AI ethics and community input, ensuring that our use of an agentic AI reflects our values and obligations.

Our work is guided by principles: mission before technology, human‑in‑the‑loop by design, equity and inclusion, transparency and accountability, and shared learning. We apply these principles internally and in every programme, initiative, and partnership.

Our core team includes people with backgrounds in nonprofit management, AI and data science, digital transformation, governance, and public policy. Each person brings a commitment to centring mission, equity, and accountability as Agentic AI becomes more widely used in the sector.

We are supported by an advisory group drawn from civil society, philanthropy, academia, and technology. They help us stress‑test our assumptions, challenge our practice, and remain responsive to the needs of communities most affected by our work.

We want to thank the many individuals, organisations, and communities whose insights, expertise, and generosity have shaped our work. We are indebted to the nonprofit leaders who have shared their experiences navigating AI adoption, the researchers who have challenged and refined our thinking, and the funders who have believed in this mission from the start.

We also recognise the open‑source communities and technology partners whose tools and platforms make our work possible. Their commitment to accessible, transparent technology reflects the same values we strive to uphold. Every programme, publication, and convening we deliver is a collective achievement, and we are grateful to everyone who contributes to this shared endeavour.
